I want to talk just a little about my true story written over two books: “Amelia’s Story” and Amelia’s Destiny.” I am so proud of these books. My heart and soul went into each and every word. I have written it for my daughter, who is currently three years old; of course it will be many years before she reads my story. But when she does I hope she will better understand her mother's journey and what I had to go through to reach this point in my life. I wanted my story to inspire a few people and now it has inspired thousands. I have received so many lovely messages from my readers all over the world, who have shared their own stories with me and confided in me. My story is a tragic one and not for the faint of heart, but I guarantee it will leave you inspired at the finish.

Heart and Mind” (a collection of contemporary poetry)

I would like to talk about my new book, “Heart and Mind” a collection of poetry which I have been writing for many years. This book is very close to my heart as many of the poems included in this inspirational and contemporary collection were born from personal experiences. This collection is designed to inspire people from all walks of life, whether you’re young, old, rich, poor, sad or happy! There is something for everyone. There is a message in many of the poems that are designed to inspire all those that read them. I believe that there is no better place to learn about compassion, love, trust, loyalty and friendship than the “University of Life.” Many obstacles are placed in our path throughout our life’s journey and it's how we deal with those obstacles that help to shape the person we become. These can only serve to make us stronger and wiser and eventually be in a position to share our wisdom with others. I hope you will all enjoy my heartfelt collection of poetry and feel inspired at the finish.

Yet another great interview, Cinta.

Dawn good luck with Amelia's Story, Amelia's Destiny, and Heart and Mind. I agree with you there is no better place to learn about compassion, love, trust, loyalty and friendship than the “University of Life.” I think it is important for writers to share this in their work, regardless of genre.

Why doesn't it surprise me your house is decorated in red, my vivacious friend? Excellent interview, Dawn, and I gasped at the craziest thing you've ever done. I read it wrong and thought you pierced your belly after jumping off a high cliff. :)
