I am feeling really happy, since it seems that my blog is liked by people. Knowing that my silly and random ramblings are enjoyed by people all over the world is something that makes me smile from ear to ear :D What can I say? I am a writer. And we writers like our writing to be read. Yesterday I got a notification in Twitter that I had been nominated for the Illuminating Blogger Award. Getting so many awards in such a short time of life as a blogger is a very humbling experience, and very rewarding as well. So, thanks.

Thanks to KD Rush at The Rush Room for passing this award on me. It made me smile big time. When I started my blog back in January, I didn't think it was going to be so popular. It seems that this award also comes with homework, so I better get to it now.

The Rules are as follow:

1. The nominee should visit the award site ( and leave a comment indicating that they have been nominated and by whom. (This step is so important because it’s the only way that we can create a blogroll of award winners).

2. The Nominee should thank the person that nominated them by posting & including a link to their blog.

3. Share one random thing about yourself in your blog post.

4. Select at least five other bloggers that you enjoy reading their illuminating, informative posts and nominate them for the award.

5. Notify your  nominees by leaving a comment on their blog, including a link to the award site (

A Random Fact about me: I am left-handed, but I write with my right hand.

And my Five Nominees are.....

1. 90 Days Novel, by authors Sean and Dan Campbell.

2. My Books and I..., by author Dawn G. Torrens.

3. Darren Cockle, by author Darren Cockle.

4. Deeliopunk, by author D.e.e.L.

5. A Life Among the Pages, by poet, writer, and reviewer Robert Zimmermann.

In my opinion, these blogs are the most "illuminating". I love reading all of them, and I am sure you will love them too if you give them a try. Read them!!
