Today, in my Meet the Author series, I am delighted to introduce fellow writer Ann Swan. She is a very versatile author, with books published in different genres that I am looking forward to reading once my TBR list gets a bit smaller :) But I think the best way of getting to know Ann is by letting her introduce herself and talk about her writing. Enjoy!

Thank you!  That was so much fun.  I am a former school teacher who retired very early and started writing those books I’d always put off.  The first one to be published was The Phantom Pilot.  It is a ghost story written for children and adults.  The second book in the Phantom Series is The Phantom Student.  It will be published next month in digital and print.  Book Three will be released next year.  I also have a story in the anthology, Timeless, edited by Denise Vitola (paranormal love stories).  And I will have a couple more stories in the next anthology, Campfire Tales, a book of spooky stories (coming out in October). All of these books are published through Cool Well Press and will be available in digital and print.

My first attempt at women’s fiction, All For Love, is coming out on 8/23/12.  It is a contemporary romance with a bit of a dark theme.  It isn’t paranormal, it is straight-up, real life.  It is being published by 5 Prince Publishing in digital and print. You can check out excerpts and snippets on my blog.  There are some free short stories on the blog as well.

I also tried my hand at self-publishing a sci/fi short story called Chems.  It is the story of a boy who finds a soldier who has been turned into a chemical-zombie by the goverrnment.  It is available only on Amazon.  All the rest of my books are available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and at the publishers websites.

I loved this interview! Ann, you and I are a lot alike- love of animals and chocolate are high on my list! I admire you for how much you're achieved, and I can completely sense your kindness and humour in this post. I would love to be a thinner me, too, but before you get too stuck on that, read Stephen King's Thinner. It will make you reconsider. ;)
